Winter Pears

Picked from our orchard in the Huon Valley, these pears are drawn not as specimens but as familiar companions of the season. Layered coloured pencil allows the fruit to emerge gradually through light, shadow and mark making, celebrating the subtle differences of shape, colour and character found in each pear.
