Towards Dawn, Huon Estuary, Franklin

Towards Dawn, Huon Estuary, Franklin brings together seventy individual paintings on paper, mounted on board across three adjoining panels, to form one large landscape. Imagined views of the estuary unfold as night gives way to morning. Layered colour, textured surfaces and emerging light evoke the shifting atmosphere of Tasmania’s tidal waters.
